Our rescue and free roaming cats enjoy an enclosed outdoor space that lets them interact with visitors

We believe that allowing the cats to free roam a safe catio environment fosters healthy and happy cats - To watch the stars at night, look at the birds in the trees and feel free in their natural environment.

What We Do

  • Three cats lying together on a wooden porch next to a brick wall.

    Feral Rescues

Some of the cats in our catio are rescues from feral colonies. The cats were brought here because, once fixed, they could not be returned to the area they were found. This was due to dangerous or uninhabitable conditions

  • A tabby kitten with green eyes next to a white stuffed animal with black eyes, set against a green textured background.

    Kitten fostering

In cooperation with the Hawaii Cat Foundation, we foster kittens and cats for future placement into permanent homes. These cats can also be found at Petco in Kapolei every Saturday and Sunday between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm

  • Two kittens inside a black wire cage with newspaper and a small rock on the bottom.

    Free Roaming Kitten Trapping

During kitten season - pretty much all year in Hawaii- many of the free roaming cats are giving birth. With trapping of the females and spaying, we are able to also trap the kittens once weaned. Then we work to socialize them and prepare for adoption by a loving family

  • Backyard view of a house with a screened patio filled with various household items, next to a grassy lawn and a stone wall, under a cloudy sky.

    Covered Catio

  • A backyard with a partially open metal and wood structure roof, decorated with string lights and hanging ornaments. There's a small stage with a blue border, a potted plant, and a racing cat sitting on the edge. Various plants, birdhouses, and outdoor decorations are present, with tall palm trees and a fence in the background.
